The Denver capitol building was not very exciting. I'll give it the benefit of the doubt and blame it on the renovations it was undergoing. Some areas were covered or had limited access, so there was not a lot to see. The building itself seemed much smaller than the previous sites. Maybe I'll look that up somewhere - comparative floor areas.
There are two mile markers on the capitol steps. Seems when they inlaid the first, they were a wee bit mistaken.
I did not spend much time at the building itself. I ate the requisite local enchiladas. I had a fantastic weekend, but it had nothing to do with the city or the building. Sorry, Denver!
