Silence is one of the most pleasurable non-sounds out there. I prefer that to the constant racket of those around me. If you don’t have anything to say, don’t waste my time and words by streaming a litany of nothing but inane conversation. To quote a movie, “…and have a point. It makes it so much more interesting to the listener!” If I wanted worthless chatter, I would watch the presidential debates. Ok, I will shut up now.
